Kavah King's musical influences are Nas, Jay-Z, Andre 3000, Styles P, Scarface, Third Eye Blind, Kool G Rap, KRS One, Bootsy Collins, A Tribe Called Quest, Bob Marley, Smokey Robinson, Daft Punk, Melly Mel, Tupac, Rakim, Jewel, J.Ivy, and the list continues. Another one of Kavah's main Inspirations is life. "Anything can inspire you or force you to recall a memory. We can all look at the same picture and give 17 different explanations. It happens all of the time."
Kavah King's first solo project is available on iTunes, Google Play and many music distributors.
Kavah King is currently working on the fourth installment of the Heathen Alumni Mixtape series, The Free Food Campaign in which artists release new music on the first day of every month Slums and Scriptures and the Slums And Scriptures Deluxe edition. Kavah is not just an artist, but executive produces as well. "I love to be hands on on a project. I try hard to keep the authenticity in music so that artists can flourish."
Kavah's current solo project is the "Slums And Scriptures Deluxe Edition." Along with the monthly "Free Food" campaign and the Heathen Alumni Love Project dropping in July of 2016. With the drive and ambition, Kavah simply wants to be heard.
